SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
ICY 2008 offers an excellent opportunity to promote products to hundreds of biological professionals from Ukraine and other countries.
INVITATION
Yeasts have long been recognized as an excellent genetic model and organisms of great biotechnological and medical importance. Genome sequencing conducted for growing number of yeast species over the last years provided good platform for novel directions of research addressing both fundamental and applied questions. New methodological tools and approaches of system biology make these classical laboratory organisms look still very modern, with even growing potential to be exploited.
The International scientific and Local organizing committees of 12th International Congress on Yeasts (ICY 2008) are assembling a diverse program to highlight the latest breakthroughs in yeast science and support productive atmosphere during the conference. The program features many famous scientists including the Nobel Laureate (Chemistry, 2004), A. Ciechanover.
The ICY 2008 will be a significant scientific event to be held in Ukraine in 2008. This will be the first time the ICY has been held in post-Soviet countries. The Institute of Cell Biology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (ICB) together with some other Ukrainian institutions will host the ICY 2008 in picturesque Ukrainian capital Kyiv. Institute of Cell Biology, which has a long history of yeast research, is proud to have a honor to organize such an important meeting and it is anticipated that participants will enjoy both scientific and social programs.
For updated program information please visit the Conference website www.icy2008.org.ua.
I invite you to take up the opportunity to participate in ICY 2008, to support this important conference, and to promote your company products among hundreds of participants and the best specialists in the field of yeast science!
Andriy A. Sibirny
Chair of the Organizing committee
